In evening[RG] Ran down the road to torrent & up by Bujosa with S. [Salamo]
Scandal at Can La : Bartolomé the mason's wife attacked his sister who came home from France expecting to live with them. Father has also been rejected. Wife (Italian) tore off sister's earrings, & scratched her throat. Bartolomé then flung her donwstairs. Painful impression in village.
Punch & sandwiches at Can Caballo. ×××× [crossed out] Then dancing here till a late hour.
