Got breakfast: great pain & bad headache all day.
Laura & I swapped beds.
Jennifer to lunch. She is going to India in a few days time; wants to get through to Afghanistan. Said we could have McCormacks house in winter; they are going to Dalmatia in Nov. [November]
Honor & Gordon — they & Laura & Norman to supper at Norman's. Norman says that Dylan Thomas made a handsome apology.[RG]
Carl got me supper.
Long talk with L at 2 o'clock ×××× [indecipherable] about the situation.
Head & stomachache. Took homeopathic camphor & aconite.
