Rang up Black as usual it being Monday about that £1000 which has not been paid yet. He advised me to write to Korda. I did.
News from Madrid bad again.
Gordon has once more broken with Molly 'finally'.
Note of protest to Book Society News for saying I had given up poetry.
Laura to Doctor. She is tired but clearly better. Jenny to lunch, & Julie, & Tom. Gave Jenny a silver gilt Chinese poison ring – pearls, green jade, a ruby (30/-) and she collaborated very competently with Laura in the Bulton scenario1.
Two more workings at The Jealous Man.
Supper at Prada with T. J, Laura, Karl, Maisie: whom L. gave her emerald & Diamond ring.
