A day entirely filled with people. Margaret Russell all day (she's going to rent a house & take in Croydon police as lodgers), David Reeves, Sally, Alan, Winifred Holmes, Norman.
Marie & Karl had the afternoon off, so lots of work[RG]. A walk with Margaret.
Felt tired out. Went over the last four days' work in Belisarius at night.

Lost the cross off the mother of pearl necklace.
