David answered very nicely both to me & Laura. He wants to join the C.U.1 Aviation squadron.
Finished the membrillo2.
A large part of yesterday & today went to a letter to the Times. L.Supp about L's review. (They said they would publish a correction of factual statement.) Eventually I destroyed it & Laura wrote herself shortly & firmly cancelling the subscription, after 10 years.[RG]
Dictionary (Laura on Ghost, Aristotle3, David (R's) Furniture, Rimbaud.) Went to Montauban trying to get someone to replace Yvonne, forbidden to work. No luck.
Started a poem about Habit.
Fall of Canton4.
