Laura did not go out today not feeling well. I went to Lugano & bought another silk Italian blanket (14 fr [francs]) bigger & with more gold in, & nacre buttons at Innovazione for L's red dress.

Three chapters of the Heathen, checking with Laura, & the first ch. [chapter] of Schools.
Leman has been sending red-atrocity pictures to Deyá from Danzig.
