A letter from Schuyler: & all well. again.[RG]
We went to Rennes to say goodbye to Anita & Juan
Showery day with brilliant sun: Laura bought shoes, we bought pink flowers for Dorothy & a camellia for Beryl & Dorothy bought me a rose-&-grey silk stock. ×××× [incomplete] [RG]
We ate at 7 rue Nemours: Francisca, Miguel, Anita (who could only eat apple compote), Juan, Jeanine, the Mallorquin commis 1, Gabriel: Laura, Alan, Beryl, Dorothy, me: & everything was lovely.
Poor Arthur Barker has failed.
