Went round the garden (L & I) deciding on plants. Hung pictures at Can Torrent . Antonia (Joanna's daughter) came on trial to work. Schw. , Nickel & Fraulein ?1 to tea.
A.F.G. finally finished, all but the aphorisms, at 12.30 a.m.
(Laura then worked on at those)
Wrote to L.H. enclosing note based on Stenning's excavations of Midrash comments on Seven Pillars in proverbs: and to thank Stenning .
