In afternoon Norman took us to Hammersmith where L went over French of Life of Dead with Axelle Ross (Michael R's wife) and then to tea at Len & Jane's. There was Alan Taylor a Manchester history don who believed that the Good Should Differ and wanted to buy a Len picture.
He drove L & me back.
Work with L. on proofs of ×××× her Collected Poems.
Norman has had to pay to send Mitzi back to Austria.
Hopes of Margaret coming to him.
