Moon's No Fool: also helping to try tidy[RG] Laura's accumulated untidied-away things. Laura finished poem "How Love Becomes Words"1 at last — about 200 lines. Then hurriedly went over proofs with me.
Catal[RG] Margarita went for her monthly holiday this morning.
Sent proofs off.
To Hotel Costa D'Or for supper: Gelat, Medora, Laura, Karl, James, me, Anna & Juan Vives. A lot of champagne: then 7 1/2 (Gelat winning) & then dancing when they had gone till 12[RG] 2 o'clock. Then kippers & tea (Sherry & brandy after champagne)
