Refugee -film decision in a fortnight. Contract for L & me to write scenario to be discussed in a week's time. Also Claudius scenario will be ready in a week. (Laura's men-men business1 'too good'.) Saw Zoltan who had just finished Elephant Boy2 & made a good impression; & the Elephant Boy himself3 riding on a big fire-engine wearing a red turban.
John G. arrived stayed late talked a lot listened not at all.
