At Mr Mills got a Greek clay oil-lamp with dolph1 2/-2
In afternoon went into 15 shops with Honor to buy her a lamp stand – no good. Bought a copper-gilt chain for Laura's garnet purse 2/63. Tea with Laura & Len at Selfridge.
Sam came unannounced: had to be rescued from King's + by Karl.
Rang up Nancy: Catherine too coming unannounced but Nancy put her off.
Margaret to supper.
Sam stopped the night
Laura got little work done; I none.
Mary Lucy happy in Ireland again: John behaving.
