Alan & Beryl went to Rennes to meet Joyce : who came.[RG]
We started a Cambeluk game Dorothy & I; Beryl & Alan – to be played with real meditation on the board in the dining-room.
The cats are at last almost house-trained.
Bellamy1 is getting better of his hydropsy.
A ride with Dorothy to village: billiards at Darcel and to explain about her mimesis.
Worrying news: Ward has a tuberculous pile.
Wrote: 'A Portrait of Little Jacob'2 from what I remembered of the sense of my dream.
