Aug 11 Sunday.
To sea with Solomon.
Very oppressive weather. Laura & I talked of supper at Costa d'Or but didn't go. Laura wrote "We are the Resurrection" poem ×××× [crossed out] & read it to me: went over my recent poems with me. It was agreed to scrap Address to Myself & I to rewrite two more. To village, where Gelat told us of a visit to the road2 of another colonel, disguised as a peasant.
Bed early.
