12 pp [pages] Belisarius Ch [Chapter] XV & 2 versions of the Captain poem (very difficult).
Lovely weather: frost slightly but we could sit without fires.
Cranleigh walk as usual.
We ragged Alix for being a Fascist because she believed that the Italian volunteers would really be withdrawn from Spain.
Laura sorts out the Communist etc letters for her Letter book.
