In the morning went for a walk with Len
                  & Jane in grounds of Chiswick
                  House2. 
                     Len gave us his Book

                         Way to read.[RG]
                  
               
               Some work on 2 specimen chapters of Belisarius for Random House.
               
               
               
               Dropped 2 shillings in Norman's money box
                  for Vera Hankisson & Michael Ross.
                  (M.R. came canvassing &
                  stopped to hint for money for an art show).
               
               
               
               Supper at Len & Jane's: Betty Noxon too.
                  Len showed me 'Dibpou'3 a dice-game & we played thread-puff.
               
               Fighting a headache due to wearing London
                  clothes.
