Belisarius all day. At 5 L & I went ×××× [indecipherable] to Baker St. & saw Mr.Mills.
The[RG] Cribb doing maps & ringing up about obscure places.
Ward & Dorothy to dinner. Ward going over poems with Laura & very historical about his bells story. Also Alan & Beryl.
At 11.30 L & I worked till 3 on Belisarius.
ten pages of Ch [Chapter] XIX had to be wholly rewritten.
