Letters
Went all afternoon with Laura Alan Beryl to various country villages in the northern neighbourhood of Rennes: Liffrés [sic: Lifferés], two Aubignies1, Hédé, Bécherelle2 looking perhaps for a country house. Bécherelle the nicest.[RG]
In evening explored northern quarter of Rennes, looking for a town house.
I taught them Nap.
Lost my cigarette lighter (Dunhill) finally: dates from Xmas [Christmas] 1936.
