Laura & I went to Rennes by the motor train, and returned by taxi having bought 2 beds, 2 tables, a cupboard for about £10 a bicycle (for about 25/-1)and a lot of household things.
Laura spent an hour not getting an extension of her carte de tourisme 2.
Very hot day.
The carpenters put up blinds & began Laura's clothes' cupboard.
Modeste has a bedroom full of attic finery
Alan & Beryl let in a bat. I blinded it with a flash light & killed it.
I have lost all my unnecessary weight & feel very well.
King & Queen visiting France for 3 days.
