Wrote several long letters & had my hair cut at Montauban but otherwise did nothing but housework.
Have had a cricked back and the weather is lugubrious.
Laura doing Rimbaud, the Americanism note for Little Brown1, and worked on David's Furniture till [until] 3 am.
Modeste given notice: she was delighted at the arrangement as she has been concealing the fact that she wants to go to Rennes to look after two fellow-deafs.
