Alan & Beryl bought provisions for us; & we more. The American Counsul, Cook, seemed lonely.[RG]
Norman is engaged to Catherine at last.
Café at the Angelus (opposite Anita's) watching dancing in the square. Soldiers paraded with torches a band & magic[RG] Japanese[RG] lanterns.
Last day at Hotel: we have both lost our silver cigarette lighters: no other damage.
