With S. [Salamo] and Gelat to Ca'n Madó [sic: Ca'n Medo]. Watched (16) men at work. Gelat says that at Lluchmayor he found high-tension turbine alternadoras [RG]1 transformers for Valldemossa scheme and other electrical equipment which he can buy very cheap.
Schwarz says that List Verlag is foxing: can get money paid. Telegram from List asking consent for sale of 6000 copies to a book-club; the money due to me being ½ 1200 marks2 or about £×××× [crossed out] 50.
Letter from Honor that she & Gordon will come with Mary Philips on 16th.
L [Laura] Karl & I went to village to ask Gelat if the Cura could get out sooner: he will ask the proprietario3 about this. If impossible, the Viña Vieja for a time.

Gelat has oak-trunk at Son Rullan in a deposito5 to make round oak table.
