Afternoon bought a table (25/-)1, 6 tumblers 4/- each, ordered sofa cushions – Tottenham Court Road district.
It showered all day, so we did not go to the Caledonian Market with James [RG] Harry Kemp as arranged.
Depressing news of the fall of Irun & arrival of German & Italian planes for the rebels.
In the evening finished checking Troy Chapter? 6, the end.
At night long walk with Laura down Oxford Street etc exploring.
