Really hot day. Finished draft of ch [chapter] 3 of Belisarius (31 pp [pages]) and going over it.
Stalking rabbits in second field: got eight shots in.
Honor came for the night: has resigned her job at the London Press Exchange as from the 17th.*
Alix to Reading about the bacteriological problem in Yorkshire where tubercular germs have defied pasteurizing of milk.
* was persuaded to resume it.
