Dec 5 Sunday

Catherine went back to school in afternoon after coming with me & David to Philip to see the heirlooms. I offered 25/-1 for a seed pearl headband to help the other pearls & diamonds to be set. The silver was vulgar, William IV florid.
Laura & Mary came back at 8 o'clock.
At 12.15 Mary had a talk with me, about being ordered about, but I gave her a plate of tongue & sent her to bed.
