To St John's Police Station to discuss John Lucy letters with Superintendent Moody.
New shirts came.
Talked most of day with James – no work except a few minutes at a time – in evening (after supper at McWhirters with him & Mary (Reeves)[RG] & Laura) went over points in [sic: his] his poem about a ship at anchor etc.
