Gale: my back has been aching a lot, so today I abstained as far as I could from heavy housework.
Reading Ghost through and making notes for future reference – having got out of touch with it.
We no[RG] Leonie now does the wash in a big suction-boiler in the big kitchen fireplace.
Laura wrote a poem, these last two days, 'When the Skies Part.' [sic: "] She is doing also: Dictionary specimen, Greeks & Trojans, Aristotle1, a children's story, Damage with Alan. And never goes out of the house.
