A letter from Joan [sic: Juan] Junyer asking for a mirror for a friend's purse and some chocolate.
A stinking review in T.L.S. of Laura's poems1: to which I replied suitably.
Warm, windy, bad day.
Talk of Mussolini withdrawing troops & material from Spain.
Worked all day and till [until] 1.15 am.
