Cold: but sunny. Showers[RG]
Worked A.F.G. with Laura all day, apart from walk to Salerosa – until 2 a.m.
Lars Porsena came: sent off copies to Tom; James; & Frank Richards.
G. told us about road about to be closed: & discussed political position in regard to it. And to water. Concerned hopeful.
Men have found a lot of good earth in excavating for deposito1.
Decided we can't leave here until end of August.
