Putting things away and rearranging furniture.

In all day: Laura went to buy a cupboard at Heal's.
In evening, lateish, David came & told us about Nancy's fainting in bath (pontine haemorrhage1) & being given up by 2 doctors: five days unconscious. Now better, & contemplating a move to Devon, selling Poulk.
David very responsible & clear-headed. He went back by taxi at 1 o clock.
Jenny: more hard luck stories over phone.
