To Mills to fetch topaz ring,(rebacked & much more golden in colour.) & bought marbles in East St.
A silly, patronizing letter from C.S. Evans about Laura's poems. which she says she will frame.
Adler should[RG] Gordon, Honor & Julian came, &[RG] Julian behaved very well[RG] [sic: friendlily] & played with Solace1.
My new sofa-cover came, & I now have a bed of proper length, breadth & comfort to sleep on.
A walk with Laura to St John's Wood village to do a little shopping (bought 3 Worcester plates for 1/62).
Work practically all day. Laura's cross found the[RG] under the desk.[RG]
At night wrote 3 pp [pages] of the L.R. book.
