At 1 o clock went to Palma and saw Charlie Chaplin's Modern Times(Painful.) With Str & Schw & Karl.
Saward1 'notarized' my income tax claims for U.S.
Laura bought herself a fountain pen & me two new ties.
This was the day that Hecatata2 ×××× [indecipherable] the black cat with white markings on her chest (who never would have anything to do with us) was badly wounded (by Alice3?)and had to be shot by a cousin of Antonia's. Buried by me near the bridge.
