In afternoon to village — Estanco, Rosa, baker — Schw [Schwarz] & Str. [Strenge] (Schw [Schwarz] to Palma by bus). Laura consulted about decoration of bandstand.

The point is, will Pepe have guts to go to Casa Consistorial3 & ask for work for his men. If he doesn't, G [Gelat] says, nappoo.4
But of course Paco wouldn't talk out to G [Gelat] & us. Afraid.
