Finished Chapter X of A.F.T. [Almost Forgotten Times]
To village & helped the Fábrica family shell almonds. To sea.
Tried to write rhymes for end of L's anthology poem1: did a few
Rest of Richards2 came from Mary.
Went to Costa D'or (L & K & I) Beer & beefsteak3 & potatoes. French people about talking to English people who knew no French: never heard that before.
Pasted 2nd copy of Richards4 for Karl to transcopy tomorrow.
Paid Mary £2 & a letter for the job.
Very hot again.
