Wed. Nov 11th (Armistice Day)

Up at 7.30 packing up all our belongings. From Majorca we brought two suitcases and a basket. We now had these two suitcases, two handbags, a hamper for books, a crate for china, two tables, two chairs, and a lot of other stuff: we took a van.
*[RG] Moved to 10 Dorset St.
2 minutes silence during the loading of the stuff: trumpeter on the roof of Trinity Church and everything frozen still except a loud angry voice from an Osnaburgh St Garage. Lunch at Rowan Tree.[RG]
Margaret turned up; for an interview with Maisie at 6, helped us get in, helped me hang the two J.A. pictures.
Laura went to Troy lecture at Burlington House, I rested. Boil troublesome.
I used lapis with silver-lustre beads & strung on necklace.
This leaves some amber over.
