Boil not so painful in morning but increasingly so all day.
Still sore throat.
Wrote to Eddie about Christopher Hassall's Devil's Dyke1 poems.
Rested on L's bed while she went over poems with Joyce Reeves.
Read War in Outline2 and wrote to L.H. about it.
