Got up early, sat in two hot baths, shaved, got breakfast, great pain. Read War Birds1.
Honor again: Laura suggesting interviews for her. While propping myself up on a new pillow Laura bought; boil burst. Cleaned up but stayed in bed. Cough also gone.
Cabled to Random house about solecism which appeared in the list sent us by H.S. as a proof of correct copy.
Ward & Dorothy came: L went over Ward's poems & I played our solitaire game with D. Ros examined me, gave me instructions.
