Friday Oct 23

Worked from 7.30 solidly through day. At 2.30 Miss Gosse the typist came & said how much they all (in the scenario typing bureau) liked the stuff. Brought the first 50 typed pp. [pages] Corrected it, Carl transcopying.
Laura so tired she went to bed. Got remainder of mss [manuscript] (to p [page]83)[RG].
In evening to supper with Korda & Biro. They went through stuff, pronounced it a useful second stage. Will stew over it for 10 days.
